I'm 17 years old and my acne has never been "bad", and neither is my diet. I eat lots of produce, drink lots of water and eat all whole grains. I've only ever gotten a few stray pimples here and there, just until recently.

Before school started this year in September, my skin was really clear all summer. Now, I'm getting tiny pimples and patches of ance around my forehead and cheekbones. What's happening? Is it because my body is going through its final hormonal changes? Is it because I'm worrying/obsessive over school and all right now?

If you know, please tell me! I'm curious as to why this is happening just NOW. And, if you do know why, do you also know any remedies that may help me?

most likely stress, but I didn'y start having acne until late, so could just simply be adult acne. Proactive worked for my sister ( who didn't start breaking out until later either). I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.
Also rememeber not to overwash your face, moisturize (Aveeno works really well for me) and try to stay away from wearing foundation often.
Just one more thing, if you work out, have gel, hairspray, etc. in your hair, that will also cause you to breakout because the sweat mixes with the gunk, and gets on your face.

It could be a combination of things: stress is a factor to look at, and also, be careful about touching your face. Bacteria on your hands can enter your pores and make you break out. Also, wash your twice daily wiht a cleanser like clean and clear. I use the ceam cleanser in the morning and a sensative skin astringent at night just before going to bed. Never go to bed with make up on. This will only make it worse. Hormones could be a factro but It doesn't seem as likely knowing what age you are. Have you recently changed cosmetic brands? That could be it too. Or different brands of hair products (hairspray can really clog the pores!)Good luck!

Sounds like stress! I also get acne from stress!

For mine I used proactiv for a long time, but I realized I was wasting my money. There is new stuff on the shelves that is better and cheaper than Proactiv, it's called Persa-Gel 10 by Clean & Clear it is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide (that is what gets rid of your acne) and Proactiv is only 2.5%. So the Persa-Gel 10 is A LOT stronger. I would totally suggest it!

it could be:
stress
changes in diet and nutrition
medications, birth control, antibiotics, etc. (if taking any)
hormonal changes (considering your still young)
facial cleansers/lotions or any other products used on or near face
touching your face more often thoughout the day with your hands, cell phone, etc.
your bed linen and/or pillows, even the detergent you use to wash these items
all of these things, clean or dirty, that may have changed since your acne began could be the reason. neutrogena has a wonderful line of products to help with acne, but if that doesnt work then see a dermatologist for the best treatment.

Sometimes your skin goes through phases. I'm sure it will pass. It can also be from stress. What are you using to wash your face? Bar soap isn't very good on your skin. Never sleep in your makeup. Wash your face in the morning and before bed. If you have oily skin make sure you use a face wash for oily skin and if you have dry skin use for dry skin. Also, is you have dry skin you don't want to use anything with a lot of alcohol in it. Oxy or Clearasil are good. If you know anyone who sells Mary Kay they have great skin care product that work really well! Hope this helps.

does that run in the two aspects of the kinfolk? purely with the aid of fact your mum and dad the two have great pores and skin does no longer mean you will. there are people who look greater like an aunt or uncle or a grandparent. according to risk you purely started dealing with puberty and your physique has began to alter. my hair replaced from directly to curly once I went via puberty. to boot, each and every physique is going to get zits at a while of their existence. according to risk you're somewhat greater under pressure than customary.

First of all, you have to find out what makes you break out... like what you eat...for example citrus makes me break out like CRAZY...But don't worry just use a face wash daily and pretty soon itll be gone...

P.S. if u r using Proactiive, then STOP....because i tried that before and it made me break out even more.
GOOD LUCK~ <3

It's just a calcium deposit. It happens to nearly everyone. It will go away, but try using products from the dead sea minerals, etc etc
