Drive her to the hospital. I mean really, if she is really having "seizures" it doesn't matter what is causing them at the moment, she needs help to remain healthy and then she can discuss the underlaying psychological problems with a psychologist. Take her to see a doctor ASAP.
If she is merely having "black outs" (which are much more common in cases of flash backs) offer to go with her to see a psychologist.

She should definitely see a doctor. She may need anticonvulsant medication. I don't know about the flashbacks of the relatives death but epilepsy can have some fairly strange symptoms such as olfactory hallucinations and frequent experiences of "deja vu". Has she regularly and heavily used alcohol or sedatives and recently stopped using? Withdrawal from these substances can cause seizures. Seizures are almost always due to physical illnesses but occasionally they can be "pseudo-seizures" due to a mental disorder such as a conversion disorder.

I believe your talking about psuedoseizures. There is not much to be done. Hopefully she is seeing a psychiatrist for this and getting the help she needs. You can be there for her by just comforting her especially when she has a seizure. If she was one when you are around, roll her on her side so she doesn't get any fluid in her lungs.Make sure there is nothing around her that she can bang into. Keep the area free from startling noises. It is important that you stay calm. You can talk to her softly, maybe just stroke her head for comfort.Just talk calmly. After the episode, it isn't uncommon that these people fall into a deep sleep. That is ok. Just stick with her. You can talk to her, she will be alble to hear you, but again talk calmly. Be there for her even when she doesn't have one. Letter know you understand and you'll be there for her. That's the best thing you can do.

I have never heard of psychomotor enduced seizure activity. However im not saying that its impossible. If your friend is having true seizure activity then she needs to been seen by her doctor first and treat her with anti-seizure medication. She should also see a psyhciatrist for the flashback's. You need to help her with finding a doctor and going with her to the appointments. Best of luck and take care

Only Dr. can find out if it is epileptic or non-epileptic seizure. Basically you can help her (convince her) to see a Dr. a.s.a.p.
