ok i wrote the same questiion yesterday but i have more details. i changed out the alternator, and a brand new batterie, i checked all the fuses. the thing is that it has an alarm and i cant turn it off, i turned it off by taking off the fuse. also in the dash the little low battery light remains on even if you have it charging with another car. What the Hell!!! Please help, im about to set the car on fire.

Double check your connections on the alternator. If one isn't in just right, then that would cause it to have that light on. Have an older mustang and it did that too. Good luck.

how much voltage do you get at the battery with the engine running.I didnt see your question before are you getting a dead battery or worried about the gauge on the dash?
