Safety remove of my USB.?
when i want to safety remove of my USB, it dosent work and alarms me as:

"Problem Ejecting USB Mass Storage Device
the device 'Generic volume' cannot be stopped because a program is still accessig it.
ok "
'Generic volume' is my USB drive , ithink.
but i dont know Wich program is accessing my USB?
what should i do?

I think explorer.exe locks USB drives sometimes.
I used to have the same problem with my flash drive and my iPod. As long as your drive in not in use (the light is not flashing - nothing is being written to it) then you can just take it out of your computer. Make sure there is nothing being written to it when you are taking it out or some data can get corrupt and you'll have to reformat your drive.

If you are using Win Xp, you can hit control alt delete.
It should show you a task list of all the operations currently in use. You can cancel the program, to stop it from running. It is also true that if the drive is not running, ie. the light is not lit on the drive, you won't hurt anything by simply pulling it out.

If you have a thumb drive hooked to the usb thats what the mass storage device is... if you want to unplug it just to to the tray and right click on it and say stop.
