They probably would have hired the settlers at substandard wages because it was good business and ignored the fact when more settlers snuck in, figuring it would help to decrease the amount of money paid to produce goods and given them more people to sell goods.

Well, if ALL tribes could have banded together, then they wouldn't be where they are now-the poorest race here in the USA. However, that would have been close to impossible. As tribes actively fought with other tribes.
I think it's a shame that things have happened to them like they have. America should be paying them for the suffrage they had still have.
I don't have a problem in sharing the land-but there are right ways and wrong ways of doing things. Period.

If the Native Americans had been organized, had immigration laws, and INS then the settlers wouldn't have tried to come here the way they did and if they did, the Native Americans wouldn't have allowed it.

Native Americans believed that a person could not "own" the land. So, they never would need an INS.

I think they would stick with the government the way it is. That assures them wealth, why would they wanna give any land to Mexico? if Mexico would not give them welfare?, They don't need an INS, they may just apply for grantees and retribution for they suffering and moneys for their lost land.
And by the way, I'm mexican (not brown) lol.

They welcomed us and helped us, once they were sure we weren't Spanish...

That is why we invited them to Thanksgiving (which they now won't let us celebrate in our own schools, making us have 'multicultural feasts at thanksgiving. Can't we have their cultural festivals on their own dates? Aren't we entitled to a FEW of our own?)

Truth. Take a look at De Soto's trips to 'pacify' the natives, if you don't believe me. (The idiot told natives Christians were immortal so when he died his crew had to toss him in the Mississippi w/ weights to hide the fact.)

Yes it is well known what the white man did in the name of his god and for what he thought was right! My god did not and still does not operate in that fashion "but the past is the past and we must let go not forget the past" so we may move in the future with our brothers and sister in god's good grace!

They are tribal and therefore will never agree on anything among themselves. Look at Afghanistan as an example of what happens in a tribal nation---constant infighting.
