Do men sometimes make up stuff or lie to make things easier for themselves to get rid of a woman?

it's not a matter, in my opinion, of hesitancy to marry but is a hesitancy of the afteraffects of a marriage gone wrong that people can't handle. Divorces are simple to get (if you keep from having children until you're sure of yourselves) and go thru in 4 weeks if you can converse and negotiate with your partner and follow the law. But it's having too many divorces that (other than in hollywood) makes the next partner hesitant to take up a marriage with you because of the morals and principles women have set on women, and women have set on the workplace and in society, and the different religions and traditions have set upon humanity.

Everyone lies sometimes but in answer to your question yes men do lie, i have a lot of male friends & i have 4 older brothers & some of the things they have sed to women to get rid of them is unbelievable.......in fact the things they say to women full stop are ridiculas

Yes...but at the same time they can tell you the complete truth, not taking your feelings into consideration about the matter, and just ruin a perfectly good relationship! Then they say "Well wouldn't you rather want to know the truth, than not know at all?"
So men really NEED to learn that honesty is good, but being ignorant is just bad.....really bad!

yes they do. when they want to break up with you and the oldest line in the book is said: " its not you its me really" it mostly means that there is someone else in the picture and he wants to get with her and hes tired of you. they lie all the time they say its easier so they wont hurt our feelings but in the end there hurting us more than they know.

yes alot do. they think they would be not hurting them as much by saying something that isnt true but in the end they get caught with the lie. so i dont know why they still insist on lying. read tips on dating and relationship to help you more on this site

Depends...you may be lying about who you are...how would we know? Same thing with your question....I think some men do because they don't want to confront the real issue of why they are breaking up...because they are hot for someone else!
