Here's one site that says approximately 30, with 15-20 more likely the average.

About 15 years plus, if it's taken care of well, and blue conures can live a very long time , fifty or more years. I have a blue conure myself. Parrots can only be bred for either breeding OR companionship, I have never heard of one doing both.

Normally its like this..

ones bred in houses as pets don't survive more than 7 to 10 years. 2 years if maintaince is bad.

based on the healthy feeding.. clean air, water, long flying...arrangement..to spend their energy.. and less stress making enviroment will let parrots to live for 25 years at maximum.

In the wild it has been observed they are productive at optimum levels of 12 to 15 years and most live to beyond this.. so..free them to where they belong.. its news to all of US...
