There should be a drop down arrow beside the box and it should let you select .jpeg otherwise just type it in following the name of your file- mytrip.jpeg.

When you are saving the file ... in the first text box it asks for the file name and in the below test box is to select the format, Their you can select either the BMP or jpeg and use can save it. Suppose if to wat to save a pic named file do tit like this.
Got file--> save as and a screen pops up now
FILE NAME: file
Save as Type : < select jpeg here>

In save as screen go to save as type and select jpeg.
