Our vet and he is a great one always tells us to give our dog peptobismal i am not at all sure i spelled that right but anyhow i remember asking him how much to give our dog not my current dog but one i had before this one and he said you can NOT give too much of it..so please this is a safe over the counter med that will help your dog and get it too stop pretty fast for you or at least it should and if your dog is having alot of diarreha please take the food and water away from her for now. She is going to the bathroom so much she will get all her electolyts out of balance and dehydrate more doing this. If you keep giving her water it will keep making her go to the bathroom more and more. Just give her very small amounts of water and no food for now till she sees the vet.Sure hope she gets better fast! Good luck

Cooked rice mixed with lamb baby food. Get her to a vet asap. Make sure she drinks lots of water, diarreha is dehydrating.

Make him/her some white rice cooked in chicken broth for flavor. The dog will eat this and this will cause the dog to clog up a bit...which will help stop the diarreah. Just make sure there is plenty of water for the dog as well. Good luck

I SWEAR THIS WORKS (and is harmless...)

Feed it some canned pumpkin. Pumpkin absorbs the excess water, and helps their stool solidify. It is completely harmless, and the dogs actually like it! Make sure it is CANNED PUMPKIN...not some other kind...usually you can find it either in the canned vegetables aisle - make sure you do not get the pumpkin pie mix found in the baking aisle, as it has other things mixed with it. Good luck!

take 1/2 cup milk and scald it on the stove. Give dog small amouts over several hours should decrease the amount of diarreah the dog has.

Pepto...my vet told me. My jack Russell had this problem and he told me one quarter teaspoon...for a small dog. Don't put off going to the vet though.
