Usually about 2 weeks. Smell it before you use it. Dairy products always smell weird when they are getting a little old.

Different types of cheese have different shelf life. I've had cheddar last for two and a half weeks. But I can't say how long it would have lasted 'cause we ate it.

Anyhow, check the expiration date that'll give you a clue.

I'd say a week or more...make sure you remove all the air, and store it in a drawer in the fridge that has moisture control. That way it will not go moldy too fast.

For quite a while, but if you aren't going to use it soon, why not freeze it? Just make sure all the air is burped out first.
