Definitely don't worry about it. A friend of mine got hers in fourth grade. Could you imagine that? Some start very early and some start later than others. I think I got mine at 13, so don't worry. You should be glad that you haven't gotten yours yet. It's a pain in the butt, and once you get it, you will wish you never had, trust me.

It is completly normal! The earliest physical change of puberty for girls is usually breast development, which most often begins around 10 or 11 years. But it can start as early as 8 or as late as 13 and still be in the normal range. The first menstrual period usually occurs about 2 years after breast development begins. Boys begin their development on average around age 11 or 12, but it can begin as early as 9 and as late as 15. Girls and guys who start developing earlier or later than these ranges can still be normal, but they should be checked by their doctor just to be sure.I wouldnt worry about going to the doctor, your probably just a later developer. If you havent started by the age of 14, go see a doctor, just to make sure everything is okay. Its nothing to worry about, all you young girls want your period so u can be a "woman" but trust me, when you finally get it, you'll wish you didnt have it!

Ditto! I haven't had my period, and I'm 15. It's ok! Just know that you've got a little longer to be more of a kid! It's a good thing, in my opinion. I'd LOVE to be forever young. Everyone grows at different rates. But if you are really worried, talk to your doctor. Your mom can help too. Maybe she went through this too when she was your age.

Good luck!
:)

Don't worry! All girls bodies are different. Some get them early and some don't get them until they've started high school! If your very worried you should talk to your mom about having a check up. Then you can ask your doctor!
Don't sweat it sweetie! You'll be ok!!

that is perfectly fine. Everyone's bodies mature at differnt rates. I think I got my period at 12 or 13 and my friend did not get her's until 17. Personally I think you are lucky if you get it later rather than sooner :)
