Hello warped_qu... :)
Yes, they too must ask Jesus into their hearts..
John 10
14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
==============================================
The other fold to which Jesus is speaking of may not be of this earth..
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love..In Christ.. :)

An extra-terrestrial civilization would no doubt have its own religious tradition and collection of myths. Who knows...they might even have a messiah-like figure. But I could almost guarantee that their beliefs would very likely be very different from ours. Why? Different development, different environments, different history, different biology.
In fact, they might see us as primitive heretics and try to convert us for our own good! Wouldn't that be fun?
Why would they have to believe in Earth's Jesus? How do you know that ET's faith isn't the "TRUE" one and that we've just been getting by with an inferior version?
I can see it now...Christian missionaries trying to convert alien visitors and causing an interstellar war...

... *ponders that one for a while*
See. We'll make interspace travel, or whatever it's called. Go there and beat them with bibles and words until they convert to Jesus and are saved. Sure, we'll likely destroy their civilization in the process but they'll all go to heaven because then they'll believe in Jesus and isn't that so much better than leaving them to their own devices and natural paths that "god" would have set down for them in the first place?

For some reason I have a feeling that wanting to believe in a higher power is a human thing only. I don't think a highly advanced ET race would have any use for religion.

God, with the help of other holy beings, created earth and many more worlds. From this it is natural to believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was carried to other worlds and they know of His great Atoning sacrifice.
According to modern revelation from God, this earth was chosen to be the home and way of His crucifixion because it is more wicked than all the others.

Extra-terrestrial civilizations would probably have their own plan of salvation.

Perhaps they believe in God. Jesus was God's way of showing us His love. He may have had other plans for other planets. Who knows...
