This girl I know wants to go out with me. I don't like her in that way, so I told her I have this friend who I think she would like. So I introduced them and they hit it off real well. Problem is every time I see her she starts hitting on me. What is the best way to hint without being mean?

Wow. I think you did the nicest thing possible and that should have been it but I guess some of us girls can read anything into anything. If she persists then you have to tell her honestly that you are not interested in her that way but you thought she was a cool person and that you thought you friend and her had more in common. Some times you do have to be blunt if a girl persists but try to be as kind as you can about it.

Just let you friends know that she is still hitting on you so that their wont be any problems in the future thats if they last long enough. Ignore the girl and keep on.

Yo in your case THAT"S WHAT IT IS.
You want to her hook her up with your friend ... and you think that's going to help you get her of your back.

Just tell her straight up ... and after that smoothe things up by telling her you don't want to loose her friendship (even if you don't care)

I think that you did that already. What is the harm in the flirting leave it alone.
