Darwin recanted on his death bed. Scientist and anti-religious people have taken Darwin's work and made it into something that he never intended. This is the work of the devil. Darwin never intended evil---he was a scientist doing a scientist's job. By like so many innocent people, his work was seized upon by agents of the devil in an effort to discredit the Bible and form a foundation for the atheist movement, which has infected every aspect of our society. This infection of the devil is why our Western civilization is in such a mess---Jesus has been thrown into the proverbial jail while the devil has been allowed to run rampant over the earth. Only Christ can resolve this situation and he will when the devil is defeated and tossed into the bottomless pit.

If one could be open minded, it is possible to believe in dinosours, evolution and god all at the same time. Darwin's theory is absolutely amazing, just as Einstien's theories were and still are absolutely amazing. But just because it's still a theory and cannot be proven with today's sciences doesn't mean it's not true.
The one thing evolution has going for it is that it isn't saying that the book says so and therefore it's true. They're questioning it and trying to prove/disprove it every day. That's the thing about science today, if something is disproved they aren't going to pretend the disproving never happened.

Oh great, another evolution denier.
This is like coming up against a Holocaust denier. What do you say to them? No matter what you decide, they're still insane and can't be reasoned with.
For anyone who IS willing to listen, evolution is theory AND fact. It is SCIENTIFIC theory, not "theory" in the way that we use it in everyday speech. Here is a definition in scientific terms:
A "law" is meant to explain, in concise terms, an action or set of actions. A "theory" is more like a scientific law than a hypothesis. A theory is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based upon proven hypotheses and verified multiple times by detached groups of researchers. One scientist cannot create a theory; he can only create a hypothesis.
In general, both a scientific theory and a scientific law are accepted to be true by the scientific community as a whole. Both are used to make predictions of events. Both are used to advance technology.
The biggest difference between a law and a theory is that a theory is much more complex and dynamic. A law governs a single action, whereas a theory explains a whole series of related phenomena.
By the way, Darwin did NOT recant. For more information, visit this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Hope

“To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree.” Charles Darwin
The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain man’s questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theory—it is just a pagan religion masquerading as science.
Dr. Kent Hovind of Florida has a standing offer of $250,000 to "anyone who can give any empirical evidence (scientific proof) for evolution." Evolution— true science fiction. His website is www.drdino.com.
Each creature brings forth after its own kind. That’s no theory; that’s a fact. Why then should we believe that man comes from another species? If evolution is true, then it is proof that the Bible is false. However, the whole of creation stands in contradiction to the theory of evolution.

My understanding is that people who want to believe strongly in religion (which is absolutely their right) have incredible difficulty accepting the idea that the universe is a natural place that follows natural laws that can be discovered through science.
Religious people didn't like it when scientists started explaining the solar system and the laws of motion and the weather and the tides and volcanos and floods and the germ theory of disease and most everything else.
So, I give up - you're religious and I respect that. Go ahead. Believe in Creationism. Don't believe in Evolution. It's a free country. Teach your children anything you want either in your homes or in your Sunday schools.
JUST DON'T TRY TO SMASH SCIENCE AND REPLACE IT WITH FAITH AND SEND US BACK TO THE DARK AGES
I support you.

He did not see a fallacay because there is none. Remember this was all done before the science of genetics and although Darwin knew he had to be right he was ignorant of the gene and the structure of DNA.
Everything, and I mean everything, that has been discovered in the last 150 years confirms his theory.
I find it almost amusing the sad little desperation you have regarding the most bullet-proof theory on the planet.

WHY ADHERE TO BIBLICAL FALLACIES.
christians, you are losing your pants and shirts when it comes to challenging evolution, science. you guys dont even know the meaning of science. thats why go on fighting one man, Darwin since the last 150 years. bible has lost the battle. best thing is to surrender, accept the truth. god is not with bible believers. he changed his position and joined darwin camp.
All religious propogand is based on falsehood. first, holy book is infallible. wht happened? bible said sun went around earth. truth is the other way. people of the east knew that earth and other planets went around the sun. even after being proved wrong for centuries, why cling to the same rotten ideas. consign bible to dustbins. that is where it belongs to.
invent and lie and repeat it many times. that is what bible is all about.

I believe in God from my heart. But i also see the evidence that Darwin's theory of natural selection is accurate. God does his work through the laws of nature and natural coincidence. After all He set nature in motion and established the laws himself.

The way I see it, you have every right not to believe in evolution theory, as long as you do not try to force public schools to teach religious theories.
And maybe what you misunderstood was that he did not like to call it Evolution, because that suggests that adaptation is a process of improvement rather than simply a process of change.

You're SO right. Darwin himself even talked about the missing links. He basically said that if evolution is true, then why weren't they finding the missing links? Why haven't they found them 150 years later? Forget he textbook frauds full of monkey-men and embyros --- where's the hardcore proof? Also, Darwin said that if it is found the cell is unable to have evolved by chance (is irreducibly complex), then evolution is debunked. The cell is irreducibly complex, therefore evolution is dead.
Good question.
