He's losing his baby teeth so that his adult teeth can come in. It's no different than when kids loose their teeth.

Pups have 28 teeth and lose them all. Adults have 42 teeth.

He is probably loosing his puppy teeth. They will be replaced by adult teeth. If in a week or so you can't feel new teeth or see new teeth coming in, contact your vet. You can check by taking your finger and gently rubbing the gum where the teeth have fallen out of. There will be little bumps (short of any other word that I can think of) and he will probably try to chew on your finger too. Get him some small rawhide bones to chew on. That will help too.

dogs lose there teeth just like children, so i'm gussing that's what's going on, you can give him canned food warmed up and mixed with water, but if you don't see new teeth coming in in the next couple days you should take him to the vet.

I know that dogs have puppy teeth that fall out; I'm not sure just when it happens, but this does seem a likely explanation.

Puppies do shed their teeth just like humans. However, it should NOT be excessive. The best thing to do is ask your vet. Watch your puppy's mouth for new tooth growth.

These are baby teeth, he'll have his new ones soon, like kids. Feed normal puppy food.

just like humans, puppies loose their baby teeth. one of the reasons they like to chew so much is that they are teetheing. regular puppy food should be fine. also provide him with lots of good things to chew (raw hide, rubber toys, stuffed animals).
