Yes,don't try uninstalling the IE-6.0 you might want to go back to it.

yes it will overwrite the old version but if you dont like IE 7 you can overwrite it and go back to IE 6 very easy this is how
hit on >start>control panel>add remove >check mark on da top of >add remove >show up dates<<
then look for (IE7 ) hit on that then hit remove . (IE7) will uninstall and your system will re-run (IE6) no need to download (IE6) again

Yes it will.

However, think twice before installin IE7 as it is still in beta phases and has a lot of bugs to be fixed. Stick to ie6 for now and if you want tabbed functionality then you can always use the yahoo toolbar add on or the firefox 2.0.

Yes it will overwrite it, if at anytime though you wish to switch back to 6 just go to control panel and uninstall it. Restart your computer and your good. I didnt like the new interface so i switched back personally.

If i was you I would stick to the current version of 6 you're using...my motto is why fix something that isn't broke...I think i'm using the same version and have been for awhile...besides i downloaded 7 myself....what a big mistake!!!! It kept locking my computer up....

It has a lot more security feautures and other things but I have heard of some people losing their favorites list when they upgrade. You might want to copy it and back it up before you do.

Yep, and it will require 2 reboots and about 15 mins to install.
But it is defintely worth it, if you ask me. :)
