You can call the jail and ask when and if the person will be released, as someone had said here before its public information, if you dont feel comfortable with that, call and speak to the supervisor at the jail and explain the situation, and ask to be called at home when the offender is released, if he or she will not help you, Call the arresting officer, they request that you be called when the offender is released. Good luck to you, been there and done that.. also be sure to get a restraining order against your husband, I know it can a difficult decision, but once they start hitting they continue hitting and it hurts to get hit.!! take care

You need to call the police department that arrested him. They will tell you when he is released if they have their own jail. If they had to send him elsewhere, they should give you a phone number or a website where you can search for him and find what you need.

HOPEFULLY you have a Personal Protective Order or Restraining Order against him -- because that will be YOUR first line of Defense -- and if you do have that -- then there should have been some notice given to you if he has been released from Jail at this time.

I would start by calling the jail. If they won't tell you if he was released, ask them how you can find out. It should be a matter of public record.

I believe all you have to do is call and ask since you are the spouse. You need to protect yourself, I hope you have a safe place to go. When you are there, get counseling for the abuse. You can transcend this and live a very good life, I did. Take care, and God Bless.

Have you called the jail? You should also file a restraining order.

I think if you just simply call the jail, the should be able to tell you if he is still there or not.

You may call that jail and ask. Also, that information is usually available on the Internet - at least it is in my county. Do you have a restraining order against him? Please get one if you do not.

Call the jail he's at, they'll be able to tell you if he's there or has been released.
