The nurse. I have seen nurses do way more injections then the doctors. The doctors only get called to do injections if it is very hard site to access, (vein collapsed etc) or if its in the artery, or somewhere more complicated.
But i would trust a nurse more....

It's "Horses for Courses" Nurses generally have more practical experience with Innoculations and Intramuscular injections so tend to be more proficient. Intravenous injections are normally done by Doctors and Paramedics, so it depends which flavour you are getting !Either way a good health professional will do the job correctly virtually pain free.

id choose me as i am an ex nurse and now a doctor he he....but nurses tend to give injections more often than doctors because doctors are usully doing jobs that nurses cannot do...this does not mean that a doctor cannot perform this task adequately....it takes 2-3 goes to perfect injection administration, and there are 2 ways to inject subcutaneously and intramuscularly, there isnt that much too it....so i wouldnt give a rats *** who...even a student will do it adequately...

Always choose the nurse :) Practice makes perfect and nurses get lots of practice.

A nurse because they typically have more experience with injections ... but not always.

Definitely a nurse! They get way more practice at it.

Same applies if you want a dressing or a bandage.

When I did my shoulder in the doctor at A&E didn't know how to put a sling on - I had to give him instructions!

The nurse. She's probably given hundreds more shots than the doctor. And nurses tend to be more compassionate than doctors.

it appears none of these people have spent any time in a hospital...it depends on who each doctor or nurse is of course...and since you dont know them when you go in, and they dont let you choose, its better to just relax. and btw...not all nurses are more compassionate..just because ur a girl and so are they doesnt mean ur nicer people.
