I just got a 4 year old Great Swiss Mountain Dog. He is HUGE. Anyway, I want to change his name. I would like it to be some sort of music term. This far, the vote is between Opus and Cannon. What do you think?

To again reinterate... I want to name him a MUSIC TERM. So, although names like Spot and stuff are fun, it's not what I am looking for. And "Skipper", his current name, he doesn't seem to respond to, so I don't think he really cares all that much. I tried calling him several names yesterday and he came each time. I think it has more to do with what inflection I use in my voice than what name I am actually calling him.

Cannon is much better than Opus.
Opus reminds me of that old cartoon, I think Opus was a weird penguin and his best friend was strung out Bill the Cat.
Cannon is also a nice strong name for a big strong dog.

A well puppy identify is Sasha. I love doing polls. Yay! Good puppy names are Sasha, Bella, Ella, Macie, Grace, and Teddy. I used to continually make up a record of puppy names and submit them on my dog organization on Facebook. I particularly desire I get great reply. Some different well names are Taya, Ali, Puff, and Boo.

First of all, you'd want to go with Canon (the musical term) as opposed to Cannon (the weapon) :).
Also try out:
Forte
Sonata
Rondo
Crescendo
Andante
Largo
Bagatelle
Virelai
Baton (like the conductor has)
Romanesca (Roman for short)
Gigue
Allemande
Courante

Not a musical term, but how about a composer name like Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin?
