he's the only one that truly knows how he feels, so the best person to ask would be him.... It' probably a good sign that when you told him how you felt, he didn't take off running or disappear off the face of the earth.. so it's a good chance his feelings are similar to your own... Besides, if you are developing strong feelings for him, it's better to be direct with him and find out where he stands rather than wait for him to get around to telling you...

I would ask him. The thing is what would you like to see come of this and would you be able to take rejection if he should not want the same thing. Also you need to think of it in terms of your friendship as well, are these feeling worth potentially ruining a friendship? Take some time to think things through and then make your next move do not rush, this is a tough situation to be in and I hope that things work out for you in the end.

Maybe he likes you just as a friend, and that's why he doesn't talk about this subject, because if he says something you don't like he might think that can lose your friendship. I don't know. It's just a point. But if you're really not sure what he feels, just ask him.
And good luck!

try to spend some alone time with him, ask him out on a super casual date and then ask him if he thinks there could be a future with you two. Good Luck.

He is feeling appreciated but my be a little hesitant to show any difference because he might not understand what your meaning was by that. You might have to express your feelings further
