I need to buy gifts for a couple of teachers that I work with (both female) as I am leaving my present job next week.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Very nice gesture. I'm sure anything you do will be appreciated, and will serve as a token of your esteem for them. People like candles. The Bombay Co. has nice gift items, many between $10-20.00. How about a Starbuck's gift card? One of my personal favorites! Or something from Bath & Bodyworks. Really, these companies should give me free stuff for practically doing a commercial for them here..lol. Happy shopping!

Find a couple of canning jars, and find a recipe for homemade chicken noodle soup. Layer the dry ingredients (like the noodles and seasonings) in the jar, and finish it off with a pretty bow and directions on how to put the soup together (including a list of whatever additional ingredients they may need). Then take some of the big pretzel sticks and dip them in melted chocolate about 3/4 of the way up. Roll them in nuts, candy, or crushed cookies right away, then refrigerate for a couple hours. Wrap them in pretty bags and tie with a ribbon. This all takes a lot of extra effort, but I feel making homemade gifts is always nicer than going out and buying something really generic.

The best gift is a gift that never wears off or vanish (finish).I wouldn't go for candles coz they'll burn out the thus the present will stop existing in thier minds. go for anything that lasts. being a guy, i bought 3months back a pair of wrist watches to a 2 colleages who got married, and they aren't expensive, try catalouge shopping at argos.

in the event that they are going someplace sunny or tropical for his or her honeymoon, cause them to a themed present! you will hit upon Island Bride and Island Groom T-shirts at Breezy coastline positioned on, alongside with different relaxing coastline products. Throw in some bubble tub and fizz glasses crammed with candy. they're going to like it!

May I suggest that you get your colleagues candles, or some bath fizzes and something that will help them relax at home, and wont be stressed about their teachings
