Rogaine is a drug. Here are the possible side-effects - is it really worth it, considering you already have nice hair? Be content and happy with what you have! There is NO risk in that .
1)Some may experience an allergic reaction to Rogaine. If you notice you are experiencing difficult in breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips, tongue, or face, or hives, discontinue the use of the drug and see a doctor immediately.
2.) Some experience chest pain when taking Rogaine. If you are experiencing chest pain, discontinue use and visit a physician immediately.
3.) Irregular or rapid heartbeats have been a document side effect to Rogaine. If you experience this, seek medical attention.
4.) If you faint as a result of taking Rogaine, stop using the drug and visit a physician immediately.
5.) If you experience itching, redness, dryness and flaking of the scalp, or headaches, continue use of Rogaine unless the side effects are unbearable. These are all normal side effects of the drug and may fade as use continues.
