Generally it's wrong to hurt yourself or anyone else, unless the hurt can't be avoided. Things that hurt no one -- such as consensual homosexuality -- are imaginary wrongs from the pit of human bigotry and cruelty -- in other words, tests of tolerance and kindness for humankind.

Anything that Jesus would not do,a willfulness of my own.Causing another to fall, gossip, critical spirit toward others.Judging others without knowing all facts IE the past they may have endured that caused them to make choices that are not Christlike.Anything that I am aware of or become aware of that would not be pleasing to my father. Then not repenting and asking God and others forgiveness.Just being way too full of MYSELF,and not being guided by the HOLY SPIRIT.God do I realize how sort I come, but his grace is all sufficient.

Wow, there are a LOT of morally wrong things. How long have you got.

As an atheist, not a big fan of "sin" - but what is morally wrong?

To kill another human
To take the life of another animal wantonly
To purposefully hurt people
To lie (or to be dishonest in any way)
To treat the planet irresponsibly

A few things to me are sin that alot of people nowadays consider okay.....abortion,homosexuality to name a few. If a person isn't a believer how can they answer when clearly God's commandments are the basis of our laws.

One person's liberty ends where another's begins.
Do unto others as you would have them do to you.
Ask not what others can do for you. Ask what you can do for others.
Sin is a selfish disregard of the consequences of your actions toward another person. Wheather friend, foe, family, or stranger.

sin to me is doing, saying, or thinking too much, of things that are offensive to God and all creation...self will that is not Christ-like...peace---the only thing not a sin..is a newborn, they are born into sin...

Sin is me choosing my way over the Lord's way. It is not anything necessarily perverse outwardly. It is more so being independent and willful against Him.
