All citizens of Planet Earth, irrespective of creed, should wage an inward jihad against prejudice, bigotry, racism and hate. And please, brother, when addressing an issue, try to assess all the aspects and viewpoints of such issue. People choose to single out a specific group and discuss their dress code for a reason. Try to figure out the motivations. And they choose to bring to the front suicide bomb to occult something. Look for the skeleton in the cupboard

Thats what the dietary requirements are in place to address.
Oh and obviously the prohibition of acohol etc.. too.
Theres much guidance in the Koran specifying the different ways a Muslim should look after their body.

"All the discussion" you are talking about, does not come from Muslims, it comes from people attacking Muslims,asking stupid questions based on hearsay and inaccuracies. I certainly don't sit around discussing bombs and terror...... Which Muslims are you referring to, cause its not any i know. The truth is already in my heart thanks for your concern. To serve God, to pray, to give in charity, to live peacefully and to raise my family. There is no rust in my heart... i suggest you look at your own.
