First of all I'm Wiccan who doesn't believe in heaven or hell so I'm not being blasphemous. Second, I heard this from a comedien so it was a joke but it's actually a very interesting question. I welcome any and all responses. I just want to see who has a sense of humor. Oh and I've tried Christianity for 20 yrs. and it's not my thing so please don't try to convert me.

Preacher-thank you.
Fish-I didn't get any spriritual fulfillment from it.
Booellis-The beauty of Wicca is that you can believe what you want but most don't believe in places called heaven or hell. I believe in the Goddess/God.

You "tried" Christianity for 20 yrs. What happened? It didn't fit your lifestyle. Now that's funny.....or not.

Ooh, I've always wanted to know more about Wicca.

Anyway, Catholics (I'm not sure about Christians) believe that hell is just the complete absence of God. It's dark, because fire would represent God and his work. There's just no love, no compassion, no kindness, no nothing. Pretty scary stuff.
So really, the common stereotype is that hell is just like Mordor (LOTR reference) and is all volcanic and hot and fiery. This isn't the case.

Our atmosphere is colder as you go higher until you get to outer space which is about -300 Fahrenheit.

As you know Heaven is a spiritual place, and is not bound by the laws of physics.

As you gain altitude, the air is colder - not hotter. Why? Because there is less air. Air insulates our planet from the extreme cold of space. So, while heated air rises, it cools, then it falls.

That's a pretty good one! One more thing, just out of curiosity, I thought that Wiccans do believe in God/Jesus? Or at least they can believe in god/Jesus and still be Wiccan?

OK, God told me (through this really cool poem that was forwarded to me by Bill Gates) to try to convert you. PLEASE OH PLEASE OH PLEASE come back to the fold! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! PRETTY PLEASE.

Well, that's all I got. Did it work?

Maybe Hell is above heaven? Hey, why is the molten core of the earth down there instead of up here?
