Faith is believing without seeing. Some put their faith in God. Some in lucky charms. The Force be with you. Do you avoid walking under ladders? Why? Faith that bad luck will occur has persuaded you to avoid the ladder. Faith in God persuades you to do your best to be a good person. Wearing a St. Christopher or other such pendant, carrying a rabbit's foot, or whatever other lucky charm persuades people that good luck is with them because of the charm. Those are just a few examples. Hope it helped.

Faith doesn't persuade people. People get faith by being persuaded.
Religion uses emotional manipulation to play on human weaknesses. Religion uses this manipulation to persuade people that they are worthless and evil and need their god to help them. This sets people up to want to believe that such a god exists. If the religion can get them to want it badly enough, they'll think it is true. That's faith.

Mostly by living your belief, people notice how you dress, respond to situations, and handle stressful ones....good opportunity to share your faith when they ask you how you do it...
