They have already contacted the Prime Minister of France to see if they can get a good deal on white flags.

It's doubtful that Democrats can come up with a good solution to the Iraq war because they, too, are politicians. There were only three really lame reasons we illegally and unconstitutionally invaded Iraq: 1) The Bush family had a personal vendetta against Hussein, ever since Desert Storm when George H.W. Bush was criticized for not 'finishing the job' and ousting Hussein then; 2) Dick Cheney wants all that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands so that he and his Exxon-Mobil buddies can get richer and richer and richer as they keep American motorists hooked on foreign OIL. As long as we keep driving $60,000 gas-guzzling SUVs, we'll only make the oil companies richer; 3) The giant U.S. military-industrial complex needed to boost its sagging profits and the only way to do that is to start another 'war'.
I don't think Democrats are smart enough to figure out all the sinister reasons why stupid Republicans went to 'war'. They stupidly believe it was to bring democracy to Iraq, or bring peace to the world.
Republicans did it for PROFIT. Nothing else.
If that's not the case, then why aren't we invading all the other dictatorships ruled by evil despots? Because those dictatorships have no OIL! So, we allow the genocide, rapes, and murders to continue, unabated.
If Bush truly believes we'll withdraw from Iraq by 2009, WHY is the U.S.A. building the largest embassy in the world on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad, overlooking the "new" Iraqi puppet government which the Bush administration installed???
Democrats don't have a good resolution to the Iraqi problem because they either don't understand the true reasons why we're there - OR they do understand why we're there and have the same incentives to maintain the status quo. -RKO-

well from what i have heard so far they are first and foremost going to come up with a exit strategy, something this president never had. they are not going to just cut and run like some think, because we are there and we have to end this somehow. they will probably put pressure on the new Iraqi govt to get their military off the ground to govern themselves. they will make sure there is some level of stability before exiting. i think though there will be troops in Iraq for a while.

I hope so but I don't see how it is possible. The sunni's, shites and kurds can not co-exist peacefully. Saddam held them in check with by a brutal dictatorship. The first Bush knew the region would be too unstable which is why he never took out Sadam. The 2nd idiot Bush went in with a cowboy mentality without ever having a way to win or a plan.

No. Just like if I was falling off a cliff I wouldn't have a great solution. Its too late for a good resolution. That is why it is important to think before you go to war.

Sure they will. Remember they disclosed the master plan before they got elected. After todays news of 12000 more fighters there that have come to kill our troops. They had better have one. Lets hope that we continue to train the Iraqi's to stand up for their new found freedom. And keep turning as much as we can back to them so that we can leave as fast as we can. But when we leave you can be sure the terrorists will follow

yes they will rescue them from Hell, but it will take a lot of arm twisting from the stubborn Republicans that they have to deal with.
There is no quick fix for Iraq, those people out in the Middle East are animals they are not even human.

One last major build-up and then all-out effort to end the violence.
2. forget about democratizing the region, but change the goal to 'stability'

Doubtful. All that can do is criticize. The only plan they will come up with is how to make sure somebody else gets blamed for their policy failures.

No! If they have, it's been a well kept secret for approximately four years now. Why keep something like that a secret if they really care about US soldiers and their country?
