Hobby Lobby has great home decor. They have everything that you have listed above a wonderful prices. They are ALWAYS having a sale on SOMETHING on sale. Hit your local consignment shops, junktique shops and yard sales----you may have to search, but you're sure to find something at a low price.

Start with Wal-Mart and work your way up. If you need a matched ensemble, try the 'warehouse direct' market, but you'll probably have to do your own cartage--it comes with the territory. Some of the big houses, like Wickes periodically run super clearances that drop prices down to the range you are looking for. B.

Try places like Garden Ridge, Target and Wal-Mart. They are all having sales on home decor now. However, many of the stores are also having sales. Hope this helps.

Color themes are supposed to be done in odd amounts. For example, use 3 colors in a room instead of 2. The red apples might just add a refreshing change to break up the blue and the white without clashing too much.

Our local Walmarts has brought in some contemporary accents that don't look cheap. Ex: little black shelves, modern picture frames that hold sevel pictures in a scattered pattern, leatherlook hassacks with storage. That kind of look. Plus a ton of chenille pillows and throws that pep up a monotone look. If you have one in your area, check it out.

I personally prefer "Ikea". That store has EVERYTHING! And the prices are good and the stuff is modern.
