You could have it straightened. When your hair is curly and it hits the collar it will curl every time and the only way to prevent that is to cut it above the collar. You can also let it grow much longer than the collar and it will go beyond the curl point.

have you tried blow drying it straight? and also try a flat iron I use one with a good hair jel.
