The real reason will be answered right here,,,I watched a show on History Channel called Hooked Illegal Drugs,,,,,in the episode about Opium Morphine and Heroin,,they mention that the real reason attendents kept the doors locked at gas stations is cause,,thats where people go to get there FIX ,,without being noticed.....So u can Thank a Drug User next time u gotta Urinate....

No the reason is that the gasses that people put in them the stations use them in the tanks also. So everytime someone uses them the door is locked and the statioin pumps the gases out before the next one pops in. Yes I know was astupid answer but funny. LOL

HA. That's a good question. I would think it is to keep bums, people looking for place to have sex, and druggies out.

becuase someone hid in one and killed someone when they walked in, this happened like 10 times in california
