First of all, how old are you? Second of all, you may not know this now, but your mother is probably right.....I never listened to my parents when I was younger, but now that I look back on it, everything they said was RIGHT!! Maybe you should give your mom a little credit. She's been there before you know?

The Library are you serious ? What does she expect could go wrong ? Ask her what is so wrong about the library and how going with a guy would be any different than with a girl.

You're never too young or too old to go to the library. But if you're under 16yrs old, then yes, you're definately too young to have a boy-friend. Wait after you graduate from High School. Trust me, you'll have a lot less stress going through High School and focus in your studies & future, instead of complicating your future by having a boy-friend. Wish you well.

Then maybe another time, your mother knows what's best for you and if you NEED to go to the library ask her if he could come with you but have a time limit. It made my mom let me go with my BF

Well If your mother thinks your to young she probably knows you best. Although maybe if you can talk to her like and adult and tell her that your going for two in a half hours, and you will come straight home, but you can't be a minute late. Slowly bu surely you will gain her trust, although when you have received her trust don't do anything to jeopardize that bond.

your mom probably thinks that you are too young or doesn't believe you that the two of you are really going to the library. she just doesn't want you to get into any trouble. how old are you?

I think you should listen to your mother. She knows you won't do any studying at the library with bf around. So hit the books and make all A's, then it won't matter..

next time... mention that you are going to the library with your friends. and if your mother did say that you are young, you must be. and i understand, at this age you probably wanna show how mature you are and that "you can handle it". but trust me, in time, you dont. be friends!
