You walk up to her, ask her to go out to dinner.....and take it from there. Fear will get you nowhere, you could be missing out on a great thing!

You are shy. When you are shy it means you have a low self esteem and seeing yourself with her his so hard to do no matter how much you want it.
The fear of rejection is overwhelming. But...depending upon how shy you are...she may not even know that you like her.
Guys can have a crush on a girl without ever even speaking to her. All you know is what you see. Girls do not work that way. Unless you are the hotest guy in school..who all the girls are talking about.... getting them to know you is your only chance.
Take the emotion out of the picture. Try to see her like she is your kid sister. You have no problem kidding her so if you could do that with this girl you will be amazed at how you get noticed.
You can't be mean. Just playing around.
The less you fear rejection the more likely you can walk right up to her and say Hi, I am going to go to the zoo this weekend. How would you like to go with me? Or just about anything else you can think of that would be fun and in public.
You have to get her to notice you before you will know if she likes you. By being shy you appear to be stand offish and she may think she has no chance with you. In that case you truly don't.
Remember: What have you got to lose by talking with her. Nothing that you have now right. So go for it. She may suprise you and you will find she had wanting you to talk to her. Just didn't know how to start it.

I was the same way had a crush on a cheer leader,,,, would ride my bike 2 miles to her House in the summer and was to afraid to walk up to the door would sit out and watch her house waiting for her to come out,,,
I played HS Basket Ball and then got to see her almost every day,,, but never really talked,,,,, Then she walked up to me and said HI,,,, I bout pissed my pants,,,, I stumbled out a HI,,, we talked for bout 5 min's about nothing ,,, when she walked away I thought ,,,,,,,, She's just a girl,,, NO BIG DEAL,,,, we had many talks after that,,,, found out I really didn't like her that much anyway,,, I thought back on all the hours I wasted all the nerves and the years taken off my life because I was to afraid,,, She's just a girl,,, walk up to her and say HI,, with a smile and everything will fall into place,,,

Start of slow like start talking to her.Like maybe saying she looks today or compliment her on something or you could ask her out .I know how you feel.Last year I was going through that and well I will work out for best.Just remeber if you like treat her with respect and dont lie to her if she ask you if you like her tell her.

Talk to her and befriend to her. Since its just a crush. Talking to her will not harm you. Then there when youre both close to each other, you can easily tell your feelings.

you start out by just talking to her. make her notice you, and dont be scared. just casually start talking and FLIRTING. girls love a flirt. and flirting shows that you like her. after you learn about her personality and she learns about yours, take the next step and ask her out. if she turns out to be the wrong one, just move on.
