Not wanting to do a lot of effort is probably what caused a gain in weight. You have to work for it, personally I do about 200-250 sit-ups and leg-ups (I don't really count the leg-ups though) a day and now i have really good abs if I may say so myself lol. But you can't lose weight and look good by just doing ab workouts you have to do other work outs or at least go running for at least half an hour preferrably at least 45 minutes, or just do any other sport like squash, rowing, tennis or something.

Drink 2 tumblers of water on increasing from the mattress, and in an afternoon drink a minimum of three litres of it. One third of your foodstuff must be low calorie salad. It fills the tummy and provides much less energy of capability. ward off cream, ghee, goodies and fried foodstuff. Take ordinary exercising sufficiently, with a view to burn greater energy of capability, than its intake. The order of selection of foodstuff is (one million) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried.

you need to be hanging from a bar
off the floor

bring your left hip up to touch the bar
knees to your chest-almost fetal position
then your right repeat as many times as possible

this works your obliques

then hang straight down, toes pointing to floor
and raise legs still to parralell with hips 90 % degrees

this works uper and lower abs

then lie on bench press bench

hold onto upright bars behind head
bring your knees to you ears
hold and squeeze for 5 seconds

bring legs down flat but do not let them rest on bench pad
repeat as many times as possible.

your abs will be crunchable
again repeat as many times as possible
