So long as its whisked thoroughly and the flour is added slowly there should be no problem.....

I believe the extra blood in the system helps pump extra oxygen around the body quicker, this in turn increases performance...
some minor draw backs...

If too much blood is pumped back into the body too quick and the heart can not cope fluid can accumulate in the lungs, the blood could get infected whilst being stored and pump some potentially fatal infection right the centre of the recipient. Perfect! Don't try this at home.

Woudn't be frozen, as that would kill the red cells and make it dangerous. Self transfusion is perfectly safe as long as the blood is stored safely. in fact it can be and has been used in operation, especially where the person is a jehovas witness who will not allow transfusions of another persons blood. In sport it would cause a temporary rise in haemoglobin, which would help performance, but it may well be illegal under the sports rules.

I'm not certain I'd want a blood transfusion to boost performance, or see how it would even. I do know that if I were to need blood, I would rather it be my own, due to diseases out there.
