London is such a mix of languages and cultures that I dont think anyone takes any notice any more.
Sloney friends eh? Good luck, its a tight knot group and they dont tend to admit strangers!

People in England don't really care too much on how you sound like, either American or British English. The only think that concern them is if you are a pleasant person to chat with.

You´r not english or American so just speak as you´ve been taught, let your aura and personality make the impression on people not your accent. People who judge someone by thier accent are shallow and need to be avoided anyway.
If your a nice chap, you´ll find friends, even with an annoying US accent.

I think that you'll do just fine. Interesting that you have set your sights on Sloane Rangers. Word to the wise, not really all they are cracked up to be. In fact, rather provincial, narrow minded and under-representative of the English. Happy travels!

are you really a Japanese sound like you don't and i am one but we Japanese are like gods when we go to London as long you have a lot of yen converted to pounds you will not have any problem in London especially if your a businessman like me they will look at you with high regards just said your working in Sony or some big Japanese companies and they will worship you like a god cause the Brits knows the Japanese export more in UK than in the united states we are helping them in their economy so they should be grateful to us Japanese. mostly all the products in the UK are made in japan especially the electronic goods like the digital camera or high definition TV, without us Japanese they will suffer a lot in their economy so they look us like gods when we come to their country especially in our business trip okay.

The English equivalent of "Gambatai" is "stuff yourself". Say this to as many people that you can meet. They will like your go getter attitude.

Are you serious, or are you trying to take the piss. If serious it doesn't matter to most people.
