theres this guy rite and we've known eachother for about eight years now and we went out about four years ago...we started to talk again like every day...getting hugs, maybe a kiss here and there. He told me that he still has feelings for me and stuff. That was like 2 weeks ago and now we dont talk at all...and hes talking to another girl. Whay did he stop talking to me? He told me that we can still be friends...but why did he stop talking to me?

He is keeping his options open. I am sure he does have feelings for you, but he may be reluctant because of how things went 4 years ago. In my past, I have told women how I felt about them, but ultimately I date other women that are willing to go out with me. These women are nice, but I would much rather be with the women that I know I care about, but dont seem to want to return my affections.

Well, did you answer him in those 2 weeks? Because if his words fell on deaf ears for 14 days, I'd do the same thing. "It's not going to work. She doesn't feel the same. I'll move on." However, if you guys had a serious talk about it, that could be another reason - he knows for a fact that you're not interested like that. At least he's not calling you up at all hours of the night. He's not a player if he can't win the game and he's not a jerk if he's just looking for a girl to be with. As for staying friends, that usually never works out. My ex said she and I could stay friends. That was 3 years ago and one of the last things she said to me. lol

It sounds like this guy is still pretty young. He actually doesn't know what he wants. However, he does like you but doesn't want to hurt you. He just has lots to explore before actually settling down with one woman.

why dont you try to talk to him and ask him directly on why he doesn't talk to you anymore. communication is very important specially if you want to start a relationship
