Man... I need to get away from the computer and meet some real men. This online stuff is just bizarre. How do I break the habit and get more involved in the "real world"? Do people really find success with this? It's like "shopping" for someone online. bizarre...

There are more real prospects outside the house and you know what they look and sound like, but the inventory is also very limited. I look online for two reasons - 1. If I'm rejected, so what? Outside and personal, I'd be embarrassed and upset about it. 2. The person of your dreams might not be 2 blocks away. If those conditions don't matter so much to you, then I say look online for different things - like addresses to local clubs or meetups or social groups, then go talk to some cute/nice guys, see if they're your type.

Online dating is dumb. I never understood why people can't just say "Hi how's it going" to the people they see everyday while out buying groceries, getting coffee at the convience store, or waiting in an elevator. It's like people have no communication skills outside of the computer and it's disturbing.
Open your newspaper and find out what singles or social events are going on in yoru area.... join a group that interests you, or even a group that doesn't interest you... you very well might meet some nice people or even find a new hobby you never thought about before. Join a Yahoo Group for singles or special interests. Many of them have weekly events where you go out for dinner or see movies or BBQs or something. You get to mingle with real people in a real environment.

i have never used a dating service or anything like that online but i did meet my wife in yahoo games. we talked and got 2 know each other for about 8 months then she came visit here and we have been in love ever since. if u want 2 meet "guys in the real world" i would suggest going out to a club or the mall. love will happen when u least expect it

Get yourself to a bar, and wait for the men to start hitting on you.
Just Remember this Online dating is ALL fantasy most of the time, unless you actually meet them.

You know I met guy I still love in internet... We met several times in real.... But life is life... We are departing in spite of we still love each other... Just by some case... Shall tell you if you like in private... As to me I believe... it is posible to meet your man in virtuality... but... many buts.... sure... Take care and believe...
