Absolutely! - It is happening more and more often. The IRS is very interested in exempt organizations these days and it is becoming harder to get and keep tax-exempt status. This is a good thing when it comes to keeping the scammers out and a bad thing when it comes to LEGITIMATE NFPs trying to get through all the "red tape".
