I am a CNA, so I know how important a healthy stool is to everyone. I think it is nasty, but in order to make sure that your bowel is functioning properly everyone should take a look every once in a while. Especially if they have lower abdominal pain. Always check for blood in your stool. If it is there or if you think that something is wrong with it you should contact you PCP asap. Not everyone thinks that using the restroom is important but I can tell you from experience it is the most important thing that a person should check and try to keep regular.

Occasionally. To see if its truly flushed - or if I had pains passing it, I might look to see what exactly came out of me :P
