I've been the answers you all have posted, and you're making me cry!
Yesterday at the Veteran's Day program in my high school, the guest speaker, a vet from WWII, taught us how to salute. We practiced a couple of times, then we stood up, and when he said "present arms!" we saluted the vets in attendance.
So, from Indiana, I salute you all! And thanks again!

Indeed, I both salute those serving now as I salute those in years past. American's ...you should know we do feel you, and your support. No other coutry on earth gives more than you to its Armed Forces. So THANK YOU!

Thank you! Great post. I'm a female US Army vet, and I want to tell everyone, Please support our troops! It doesn't matter if you are for the war or against it! Our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and all over the world need our support!

Yes, thank you Veterans for your sacrifices and thank you to our troops for their sacrifies today. My prayers go out to the families also. You all have fought and some are continuing to fight for freedoms. We have our freedoms and a great Country because of all of you!

I and all us over here in Korea appreciate that. It feels good to know that there are still people over in the states that appreciate for what we do and everything.
