Where did you go on your best vacation ever? What made it so good?

I saw a report yesterday that Norway is the best country to live in so it should be a good place to visit. I am hoping to go next year.

I believe it is a matter of personal taste. I am Canadian so anywhere warm is good for me. I really enjoy the eastern provinces of Canada and I enjoy the US and Mexico. It all has to do with what your personal preference is. Do you want warm, hot, or cold? DO you want to go site seeing , or just relax at the beach. All of my vacations have been the best and all for different reasons.

London and the Cotswolds
I love English history and I went on a book club "field trip" with several of my good friends. We learned a lot, had lots of laughs, ate some great food and saw some absolutely beautiful places.
