I have tried a bunch of those, including the ones that you probably have not heard of, such as Water Works. Here is the reality about these hair colors. They fade easily. Also, they leave a green residue. The worst ones are the ones that Whole Food Sells. Sorry, I do not remember the name, but those contain a lot of alcohol. Bottom line is that your hair is better off using chemical products that are gentle versus something that does not work. I recommend Loreal Excellence and Garnier Nutrisse. Both are very gentle and keep your hair healthy.

look i do hair and let me just tell you that natural hair dyes are made with a plant called Henna. When you put this stuff in your hair there is no turning back. Meaning that once you apply it you have to wait for your hair to grow out before you can lighten your hair. Believe me is not good stuff. If you are worried about damaging your hair try redkens semi-permanent. believe me you will thank me later
