Jesus was not following His plan He was following the Fathers plan... the end of the book of John says: that all of the miracles that Jesus performed would; if they were written down; the whole world could not contain them.
Lazarus was part of Gods plan... part of the ministry teachings that Jesus did on the earth, and God knew that it would still be relevant today.
John the baptist was killed for preaching the word of God. Why would Jesus want to take away Johns Glorious place in heaven.

The Lazarus that Jesus raised grew to become into not a similar Lazarus of the myth, because of the fact the Lazarus of the myth grew to become right into a begger, however the Lazarus that Jesus raised owned his own residence, and so on. the place He grew to become into in the process the interum previously Jesus stated as him back is organic hypothesis, yet Paul mentioned, "To be absent from the physique is to be present day with the Lord," different than Jesus had not yet been crucified and resurrected on the time He resurrected Lazarus, so this is attainable he went to the region Jesus stated as "the bosom of Abraham" or paradise.

All Christian believers say that If Jesus did not say, Lazarus, but merely said, Come Forth, that all the dead in there graves all around the world, would have been risen from their grave, from the dead.
John the Baptist fulfilled his commission given him by YHWH, and it was his time to go, when he was beheaded. John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus.
Notice that the very first teaching of John the baptist AND of
Yeshua Jesus was Repent of your sins, (turn from ones sin, never to return to the sins again). This repentance of sin first preached by John the Baptist and Yeshua Jesus is first necessary for any human being to do, in order to be saved.
Then Romans 10:9-10 "To believe in ones heart that God/YHWH raised Yeshua Jesus from the dead, and to confess with ones mouth that Yeshua Jesus is your Lord/Master to be saved."

Lazarus was not the only one.
Jesus raised a wisow's adult son.Luke 7:11-15.
Jesus raised a young girl. Mark 5:38 - 42.
Jesus was not the one calling the shots.
He did what his heavenly father directed him to do.
So the question is why did God not direct Jesus to resurrect John?
Good question.
There is not enough written to zero-in on a precisse answer.
We must trust God knows what he is doing.
However, only a few resurrections were needed since the purpose was simply to show Jesus has the power over death.

He also raised Jairus' Daughter and the Widow from Nain's son.
I beleive that Jesus did not intercede for John Baptist because John (the Forerunner - the name I prefer) was to die as the first true Martyr.

ok... Lazurus and Jesus were best friends and when Lazarus died Jesus was very sad so He raised him from the dead. Not stepping in for John the Baptist was part of God's plan for us as Christians now... leading up to his crucifiction

He is not: what difference does the location of the dead body make? They were still dead.
Matt 9:23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,
24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.
25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.
26 And the fame hereof went abroad into all that land.
Mark 5:38 And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.
39 And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleepeth.
40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
42 And straightway the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

Because John decreased so Jesus could increase. This was the will of God . Everything that Jesus did was the will of His Father God.
John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
