Two answers I've viewed are not wise.
First of all, drinking to forget doesn't work. The problem is still there when you are sober. Unless of course, you constantly stay drunk, then you have a bigger problem.
Second, dating another person is rebounding and not fair to that person. Would you like to be a rebound date? Of course, men may say yes if it involves sex. But get into the emotional aspect of it and you;ll agree, it's not fun.
You need to use your logic instead of your emotions or hormones. First step is to stay away from this woman and stay busy with hobbies and interests. Stay away from sappy songs which may remind you of her. Last, volunteer in a charity of your interest. It is pleasurable to help others and viewing the smiles on the faces of those who's lives you've impact is a great reward. Eventually, you may find another friend or girlfriend within the same group and hit it off. Then you'll know you at least have the same interest from the volunteering.

You don't forget someone, the pain just easier till it goes away. The first step would be to stop having sex with her and stop seeing her for awhile. After the pain subsides and gets easier to deal with, then maybe get in touch with her again if you should decide to.

I see your previous question. You seem fairly obsessed with this woman. She lives with her EX? Is she really divorced or just separated? You need to stop seeing her and if you find that you still can't forget her, then you need counseling.

Sounds like she's got more baggage than assets!
You need to find someone new and move on, unless you are ready to live with her past and all her problems (Living with her ex??? I'm sorry, that's just weird!!!)

I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU STOP HAVING SEX WITH HER AT ONCE. SEX (IF IT'S REAL GOOD) HAS A WAY OF MAKING US DO THINGS AND STAY IN SITUATIONS THAT WE NORMALLY WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER STAYING IN.
AND THEN JUST MONITOR THE SITUATION AND SEE IF IT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU REALLY WANT TO PURSUE. AND IF SO, THEN GET YOURSELF SOME MEDICATION (TO HELP WITH TOLERATION OF THE BIPOLAR THING) AND HAVE AT IT!!! GOOD LUCK.

Oh, my friend. Leave it alone! Do whatever you have to do, full frontal lobotamy, whatever! Get out and try to date someone else, keep yourself occupied. Anything that keeps you from calling her!
