Arcane are you crazy? Their are a lot more modernized middle eastern countries that Iraq. I have been to a couple different countries and I saw nothing that even Iraq. You need to know what you are talking about before you start saying stuff like that. One other thing I want to tell you about. If the Iraqis didn't want us there all they had to do is run us out, but they are going through what we did in our civil war, Losing life's, homes, family and what not they know that it is a necessary evil but most of them are ready for a change. There have been more business open up in the last year than any other year in their history. Soon as they can show that their military is able and willing we will be out but no sooner. It would be a disgrace to the US and its people if we left now and let total hell rain down upon them.

I wish I could tell you an exact number. One thing is for sure; there are definitely more Iraqi's being lured into joining them since the US led invasion began. Everyone likes to think Hussein was so bad, and perhaps he was but, there never would have been this type of violence and chaos in the streets under his rule. Does anyone know that, prior to the war, Iraq was one of the most modern and secular of all mid-east countries and that it had a middle class? Now that the west has bombed it back into the stone age, is it any wonder the religious zealots are running amuck? Before it seemed the so-called "insurgents" were coming to Iraq from other countries. Thanks to the war, there are now Iraqi's who have lost there homes and their families who have nothing left, but to take up arms and join up with one of these Sunni or Shiite groups. Al-Qaeda was just the beginning. This will not end with the death of them. Thanks a lot GWB.

The exact number is classified because we do not want AQ to know how badly we have hurt them. (One of our tricks is for our intel folks to take assume the online/phone/etc identities of dead terrorists and see what info we can get.)

We are getting them. Unlike the previous administration, President Bush is placing military secrets ahead of his own political advantage.
