Do any of you have children born with birth defects?

Did you blame yourself? Your spouse? Can you describe a little about what you personally went through because of it? Were you ever ashamed? Or maybe just worried about how it would effect your child's life?

Yes, my 10 month old was born with one toe one his left foot. I am not ashamed of him I worry about how other people are going to react. no one even knows unless her has no socks on. I am afraid that I would get irate if someone said something dumb or stared. I do not blame myself or my spouse. It is something that just happened.
