I don't really think it matters how someone dumps you, it still feels sh*tty. You should feel grateful that you're not with that person anymore. They obviously weren't good enough to tell you face to face so you're better of without.

It doesn't matter how you get dumped, it's never nice, however, if you're partner is that insensitive then my advice is simply forget about them. It's the cowards way out and you ought to feel relieved that you got out of the relationship with that loser. Deal with it in you're own way but remember that loosing a **** like that is NOT going to be your downfall

Very peeved! I would be, what a crappy way to end a relationship! It tells the person being dumped that they never had any respect for them. How awful, it's the cowards way out!

I'd say it would depend on how long you were dating and how old you are. If you are a teenager who has been seeing a guy for a few weeks, no big deal.
If you are an adult who has been in an actual relationship, I think you deserve to be told in person, or at least on the phone.

Relieved - if anyone is lame enough not to say to you - things are not working, I'm sorry for the hurt I have caused you but I do not want to see you any more..then it is a lucky escape anyway..
Only a coward/loser would do such a thing and they should be seen as not worth a single tear..

I was dumped by letter once, just made me laugh for a while but I guess we weren't that serious. Hope at least he/she was creative about it. I hate all that its not you its me crap. I did dump someone by email once but that wasnt intentional and she seemed far too happy about being dumped.

Bloody upset! If you are going to dump someone, at least have the balls to say it to their face. Texting/faxing/e-mailing/messages on answerphones are a coward's way out.

i would pretend like i did not get the text and make the a$$hole do it in different matter. i would take it as a easy cop out. make it more difficult and pretend you don't know so that person can face the music when you give them a ear full
