I'm sure you can tell by the previous posts that he "hurt" more than he ever could have hoped to help. His goals were to purify the German people (so to speak) and bring them out of a sorry state post WW1. But, if you call that help, I suppose mass murder and conquest would be is the way to go. Perhaps you should ask the question in an other way, I"m sure you couldn't have truly meant 'help' through containment camps.

The political turning point for Hitler came when the Great Depression hit Germany in 1930 . Brüning's(The vice chancellor) measure of budget consolidation and financial austerity brought little economic improvement and was extremely unpopular. Under these circumstances, Hitler appealed to the bulk of German farmers, war veterans and the middle-class who had been hard-hit by both the inflation of the 1920s and the unemployment of the Depression. Hitler received little response from the urban working classes and traditionally Catholic regions.
Hitler oversaw one of the greatest expansions of industrial production and civil improvement Germany had ever seen, mostly based on debt flotation and expansion of the military
During Hitler's rule unemployment rate was cut substantially, mostly through arms production and sending women home so that men could take their jobs. Given this, claims that the German economy achieved near full employment are at least partly artifacts of propaganda from the era. Much of the financing for Hitler's reconstruction and rearmament came from currency manipulation by Hjalmar Schacht, including the clouded credits through the Mefo bills.
Hitler also oversaw one of the largest infrastructure improvement campaigns in German history, with the construction of dozens of dams, autobahns, railroads and other civil works.
Hitler was also a fervent non-smoker and promoted aggressive anti-smoking campaigns throughout Germany

No, you sound like a brainwashed leftie your self. The media say some thing sells. MSNBC itself is readily Fox News in opposite. America is without doubt nowhere close Adolf* Hitler's Germany. Nor will it ever be. Look the bloody factor up, you haven't any suggestion what you are on approximately right here. Imperial Japan used to be much more socially conservative than Nazi Germany. For fuc*'s sake, the United States of America in 2012 is nowhere NEAR both of the ones areas.

I'm not sure I understand you. There were war crimes. As far as what he did to help Germany-
-Broke ground on the Autoband and saw to it's construction setting the example for the expressway systems seen today. However, the autoband has no speed limit and no tolls. It's purpose was to avoid those pesky red lights.
-Designed the Volkswagon (Or people's car)
-Envisioned the "Black Box" that is in Airplanes.
-Advocated an anti-Smoking campain.
-He was an artist, but I don't think that any of the paitings were brought into the picture.
-Stood firmly against Communism, which didn't make him too popular.
-He reveved the German economy while most were still suffering after the depression, however the war devestated Germany.

He was angry at the jews because they were buying up Germany and the way he saw it, they were benefiting off of their misery post WWI. Communist banners were being hung up in Germany and the country was dieing. One night a jewish boy who thought that his parents were being humiliated by cleaning sidewalks, went into an embassy and shot a German official. It is my understanding that it was then that all hell broke loose.
The crappy part was that he had Polish political opponents assassinated. AND Gypsies, homosexuals, Christian Poles and Jews were placed in detention camps.

At the end of WWI, Germany went into a huge recession, due mostly to money owed from war losses invested by other countries. Hitler convinced the German people and other countries that Germany could return to greatness quickly under the National Socialistic Party. It took a decade to do so, but mostly due to increased investments in war planning goods, automobile manufacturing, and other durable goods, the economy became very viable.

He didnt. Hitler was a bad man, who did bad things.
In his own mind, he tried to "help" Germany out by creating more living space (i.e. by invading surrounding countries), and getting rid of what he considered "Jewish traitors," and all others who muddied the purity of the "superior German race."
On a side note, did you know the German troops were so successful initially not only due to Hitler's pretty brilliant military strategy/battle tactics, but also because they were all hopped up on meth? I saw that on the history channel the other day.

he did help germany out before the holocaust. he brought germany out of the depression with many projects such as the autobaun and the volkswagon to name a few ... he used his new power to liberate parts of germany that were supposed to be de-militirised due to the first world war.
and the rest of what he did is pretty mutch history as one of the worst crimes to humanity thus far.
Was he a big help? he took 1 giant step forward then took 7 steps backward with the holocaust, Germany ended up exactly where it was afterwards.
keep into consideration the nazi regime was voted in by the people of germany, it wasnt untill after that they took complete controll of Germany's Goverment.

Hitler promised the German people work, food, health, strong young people, roads this he did, he hypnotized millions who were hungry ,unemployed and desperate, gave them hope, he was elected democratically, and when he came to power in 1933 he made laws that outlawed trade unions, took away Jewish rights so they were in effect non persons, those who resisted him were sent to concentration camps like Dachau, and in in 1939 walked into Poland this started WW2 he and his kind saw all Slavs, Jews and Gypsies as sub human, and were sent to death camps like Treblinka, Sobibor,Chelno,Auschwitz, millions went to there deaths in cattle cars,6 Million Jews, 5 Million Poles,4 Million Russians, 24,000 Gypsies, after D-Day we the British liberated Bergen-Belson, Russians liberated Auschwitz, and the Americans Dachau there were hundreds of these camps most were in eastern Poland and sped all over Germany, Hitler was evil so were his henchmen.
I hope this answers your question.

Hitler didn't help Germany. Hitler brainwashed people to the point that they committed suicide when he was no longer in power. Hitler gave his troops methamphetamine so that they were unstoppable and didn't need the rest everyone else needed. Hitler murdered Jews. Need I go on?

He didn't, have you studied WW2 at all, milions killed, the country in ruins, what he did at the start looked good for the economy of Germany because he put the unemployed to work but it was for goods for his war machine and that as it turned out not good.
Maybe the Volkswagen, Hitler created that!
