I hate tin foil interior the refrigerator. My spouse wraps meats up in it and places it interior the freezer. some has probable been there for 3 years, i'm going to under no circumstances use it, i won't be able to verify what this is! For some issues those new ziplocs with the vacuum pump are available regardless of the undeniable fact that. --- thank you Mookie, i does no longer choose for my cheese violated. So what's foil for? i'm going to tell you: Pull off enormous sq. piece, lay it vivid part down and spray it with Pam. Layer in this order some slices of potato, a fowl breast (sprinkled the two sides with taco seasoning mixture), some chunky backyard salsa and a few shredded Mexican cheese. improve the foil sides and seal leaving an air area. Bake at 400F for a million/2 hour. Now that's what foil is for!

One should always transfer the contents of an opened can into another container if you're planning to put it in the fridge. Otherwise, the inside of the can will start to oxidize and rust hence ruin the food inside

No actually. I learn about that in a cooking class. The tin will likely rust or there might be a chemical reaction you cannot see with your naked eye. It is best to transfer the contents to tupperware.
However, I did that once (as in leave canned peaches in the can) for a few hours and it was okay.

Food has to be out of the tin or can before going in the fridge. Cover any food in any container (except metal) with clingfilm or foil.

transfer to plastic o glass bowl, once you open the can it could have all kind of chemical reactions and the beans usually take the tin flavor. so better of to switch to another container

Yeah, but it works better if you transfer it to a different container or even a bowl. If you leave it in the can it starts to taste like tin after a couple of hours.

I don't think you should store anything in the refridgerator in a opened can. My mother told me that.
