Doesn't CZ mean cubic zircona? The gold might be real but those "diamonds" sure arent! All cubic zircona is is glass or plastic made to look like a diamond. How dare your aunt lie to your fiance.

yes, its not a real diamond of any value, cubic zirconium is what cz stands for, which is a fake diamond. No value whatsoever, sorry, but maybe she didn't know this and believes it to be of real value. Give her the benefit of the doubt, depending on how well you know her, meaning is she someone who lies a lot.

The CZ is cubic zirconia, and "Diamondique" is another red flag. A lone "Z" also means it's a CZ.

I would venture to say it is fake, but then again, she could have used the setting and a real diamond...take it to a pawn shop to have it appraised.

oh man, that stinks! well at least he didnt buy it, so its not like youre busting him, or embarassing him. I would just tell him kind of in a joking way, and be like isnt that funny, and some how hint that you want a replacement...if thats what you want.
